My Reactions to Reactions
1. The lone buoy donging sound in JAWS is the best example for sound.
Ans: Yes, it is. That greatly inspired me. Really appreciate that in the days of people mostly not even remembering stories of the films they see after a few days, you actually still remember a sound effect.
2. Why are you filmmakers still copying in the name of inspiration?
Ans: It’s because we don’t have access to your creative genius.
3. Is Antham background music inspired from Terminator?
Ans: Yes and I am impressed with you for realizing that.
4. No matter how beautiful it is, won’t we loose interest once we reach our destination?
Ans: There cannot be a final destination ever as life should be constantly travelling till death. So the moment you reach your cherished destination you have to set your goal on a new destination.
5. Isn’t Daud a direct lift from “Romancing the Stone”?
Ans: Yes, and also from a dozen other films. On top of all those cult classic hits I added my very own individual creative genius to fuck them up.
6. Now that you have written your prologue I will stop barking.
Ans: Thank you Naughty. If you promise not to tell anybody let me confess that I was actually getting jealous of you taking attention away from me.
P.S: But I meant what I said in the prologue. Thanks again.
7. Would love to hear in your words about Sridevi.
Ans: Sex personified into a beauty.
8. You have an eye for talent.
Ans: There is no such thing as Talent. People fit in the right subject, right character, right place, right time and in a right state of mind. I picked up a talent like Manoj Bajpai and also a talent like Mohit Ahlawat which basically speaks oodles about my talent.
9. I get pretty disappointed when you make films like James etc.
Ans: You are not alone my friend. There are loads of people out there who share the same sentiment. Come join the club. I am a member too.
10. Destiny is not a chance but it has to be by choice. If something has to be achieved it should not be waited for.
Ans: Superb.
11. Deleting our irritating comments is ridiculous. Even many of your films are irritating.
Ans: I got a fantastic idea. Why don’t you just stay away from both my films and my blog. …………Bye.
12. If a guy has good imagination will you give him a chance and take him as an assistant director under your umbrella?
Ans: Hello, I don’t give chances. I only take chances. Also it primarily depends on good imagination in whose view and secondly if there is space under the umbrella.
13. How can I reach you with my script for a narration?
Ans: You can’t because wherever you are at any time I will make sure that I will be a thousand miles away.
P.S: I know that this was a mean and stupid joke but I just not could resist the barb. Seriously, I make films only with my own script ideas.

Your quote ” Heated gold becomes ornament. Beaten copper becomes wires. depleted stone becomes statue. so the more pain u get in life, you become more valuable.” is really awesome. Thanks!
How people write leave Applications. It’s murder of English language. Some of them…
“Since I have to go to my village to sell my land along with my wife , please sanction me one-week leave.”
From an employee who was performing the “mundan” ceremony of his 10 year old son:”as I want to shave my son’s head , please leave me for two days..”
Leave-letter from an employee who was performing his daughter’s wedding:”as I am marrying my daughter , please grant a week’s leave..”
“As my mother-in-law has expired and I am only one responsible for it , please grant me 10 days leave.”
“Since I’ve to go to the cremation ground at 10 o-clock and I may not return , please grant me half day casual leave”
An incident of a leave letter:”I am suffering from fever , please declare one-day holiday.”
A leave letter to the headmaster:”As I am studying in this school I am suffering from headache. I request you to leave me today”
Another leave letter written to the headmaster:”As my headache is paining , please grant me leave for the day.”

Letter writing:-”I am well here and hope you are also in the same well.”

tell us about the picturisation of “nee navvu cheppindhi” song from antham its really contemporary and romantic
do you remember your first crush? if so who is that?
How do you make the decision of giving your assistants to direct a film versus you directing it yourself?
While most of my friends(esp girls) argue with me that SATYA is a mafia film, I say its a love story. Anything wrong? ;)
delete this and enjoy yourself.. shall try to please you next time if you send me an easy password.
whether paritala ravi’s life story is a reference point for your rakta charitra or complete extraction?
What I definitely know for sure is that you like MJ and you crave for publicity.
There is scene in ‘Gayam’ where villain (Kota) refuses to let a lady interview him but his advisor (Tanikella Bharani) say “Publicity is very important…. MJ takes 1 crore per song etc…and see where are we and where MJ is etc”.Ofcourse Villain lets lady interview him.
Why don’t you use choppers for different angles of cameras (except in Mast)?
May be Mast was a flop but it gave inspiration to many films in telugu and tamil which were huge hits.
One who believes in GOD, never believes in mankind.

Why inflict pain ?….a simple answer would suffice. He doesn’t owe you anything, neither do you. So why “phook” him like that?
Ramu, Am watching Shiva for Nth time today. whenever i watch this movie, i watch it as your first movie and always wonder how you wud hv conceived everything of Shiva as a first timer. One thing I was very much impressed was background score and the variety Ilayaraja has shown in background score in each scene. How did you conceive the background score of shiva? What was your contribution towards that? and how much credit goes to Maestro????? How was working with Maestro and why didnt u work again??? Also… u never wrote abt one of finest actors RAGHUVARAN. Why???? Can u pl write abt Raghuvaran and Ilayaraja?
do you watch your own movies?
if you watch your own movies how many times hav u watched aag?
how did u conceive that scene of sarkar in which abhishek says kitne pahuche?
is it copy from godfather 1 where in pacino says what does turk pay to set up my father captain?
will you ever make a james bond kind of movie?
do u like james bond movies?
if yes for what reason?
god is like air it is everywhere

Why does Ramu don’t work with Shahrukh Khan?
Sir,
In your previous blog post, you had replied to my query that you don’t decide your camera angles and shoot them the way you’d like to see it.
While making my short film, I followed your advice and it proved to be really useful, so much so that the cameraman wondered whether I was a seasoned director (it’s my first film with professionals, earlier I used to make films with a ‘borrowed’ digicam).
But many of my friends insist on taking the same shot in different angles. Doesn’t that mean they are not confident enough about shooting the scene?

//Hello, I don’t give chances. I only take chances. Also it primarily depends on good imagination in whose view and secondly if there is space under the umbrella.//
Thats cool to hear. So you still take chances. I couldn’t understand that IMAGINATION part but is there space under the umbrella now ? Its one of the best three umbrellas existing now to go under and so wonderful one that gave space and helped hella lot of guys find their ways.
Now that you yourself said it in your blog in open space, sree467@gmail.com is waiting to check its luck or to put in other words, to give u a chance to take a chance… :)

Why are you so fascinated about giving interviews or blogging?Does each question asked to you help you to discover yourself?
or do you feel elated talking to the naive people that you are living with.
Currently Media is like a teenager while it should have been like our grandfather.
rakta charitra is going to be a cult classic!
how are the names of the characters in your movies chosen? does a lot of thought go into it or are they lifted from newspapers or what is it?
Isn’t Daud a direct lift from “Romancing the Stone”?
Ans: Yes, and also from a dozen other films. On top of all those cult classic hits I added my very own individual creative genius to fuck them up.
made me laugh for a while..
thanks… to daud and aag and contract and lot others for giving you enough time to blog here and entertaine us consistently.
hail ramu!
Hi Ramu,
I am an engineer based in San francisco. Is there a possibility of me being a silent “Observer” on the sets of “Raktha Charitra”. Dont know how to get in touch with you about this?.
-Sree
At times, people draw a general impression about an individual or a film
based on a single characteristic, such as intelligence, sociability, aggressiveness, sex or violence or hero or a song some films do good business when word of mouth catches like a rapid fire and due to this halo effect some films dont deserve to do well etc.some where u wrote in this blog that if a film does well it is not necessary that people liked it ……….elaborate on the word of mouth and halo effect
Hello Varma garu,
In Indrudu-chandrudu, there is a moment where Kamal Hassan, closes his eyes and opens them with burning anger when the shot dissolves into another shot such that his eyes superimpose on the headlights of a moving car in the next shot/scene. I hope I have explained this clearly.
I’ve also heard that it has been nicely copied from ‘Platoon’.
Such moments are a perfect example of planning and coordination between the director and the editor (provided they are not copied).
Is it difficult to conceive such moments in every film?
You mentioned that you plan most of your camera angles on the sets. In that case, transitions such as above may not always be possible.
I feel these things better be planned at script-level rather than conceiving at the sets.
Hello Varma garu,
In Shiva(Telugu) there is this scene where you show Nagarjuna’s office for the first-time while a bar owner asks for protection. This scene transitions into the next scene where the camera literally crawls on the wooden(?) floor while moving closer to Bhavani who is swinging in his rocking chair. This is a fantastic visual. The background score also sounds as if some aeroplane is taking off. It was just superb.
However, the editing is such that, the camera in the ‘Bhavani Rocking Chair’ scene starts moving only after the ‘Shiva’s Office’ scene completely fades out. It would have been nice if the transition happens while the camera is moving. Also I so much wanted the camera to move a little longer.
Somehow, in a lot of movies I see that the editors never transition to a shot where the camera is moving.
@sreedhaar
Hi Sreedhar,
I too live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Please let me know if you would be interested in connecting with me.
You use smoke in many of your scenes. Is that inspiration from Steven Spielberg movies ?
Hi Ramu,
I really have to admire your personality and most importantly appreciate your efforts in maintaining this blog with such a valuable articles, valuable answers to our questions and very valuable thoughts.
Ever since I was a kid (I think 8 yrs), right from the moment I watched ‘Shiva’ I started admiring you. Normally kids at that age would notice who the director was, but I don’t know how & why I enquired about you after watching Shiva, rather than Nagarjuna or Amala or Raghuvaran. Anyway since them I always observe, study you & your movies deeply.
In fact I only found out about your blog just 3 months ago accidentally when I googled your name. Since then I open it almost everyday with enthusiasm.
Sometimes I question myself “why this guy (RGV) is putting this amount of time and effort in the writing such a nice articles (from heart), reading & answering our comments?!?!?, as I couldn’t see any commercial purpose”, hence I figured you are just passionate about life and passionate about your work (cinema), which are priceless and you’d still do it even if you are not paid for. Hence I think you make money to make movies, not the other way around.
From what I know you from this blog, your movies and your interviews .. I feel like I have to praise you for your down-to-earth and saint like attitude, who mostly follows his heart (or I’d normally say Balls). Especially when I compare you with your contemporaries in India, you have got immense talent than anyone of them and you are light years ahead of them. I couldn’t resist appreciating a person of your stature spending valuable time on this blog, which in turn makes, spending my time on your blog – a ‘Quality Time’.
If I wasn’t reading your blog, I think I might’ve missed something I wanted to learn or at least .. the learning would’ve gotten delayed.
Sincere apologies for all these praises !! No, I don’t have a script for you, or a hidden agenda. If you follow my username, I’m one of them who mostly abused you in past and I might still do that in future. Thanks for allowing us to write from heart. In these so called Democratic countries, I could only practice my freedom of expression on few places like your blog.
Cheers,
“The only thing in this world that gives orders .. is BALLS” – Tony Montana (Scarface)
Its always better 2 b hated;for wat u r.than 2 b loved for wat u r not. I mean 4 that reason u love the hate.
I recently watched Godfather trilogy and wanted to ask 2 things.
1) You captured all the angles from the characters but the constant effort of Michael Corleone to legitmise his business or getting out of viscious circle or the effort to resurrect his public image is not shown in Abhishek’s character. Even in the starting, in one of the scenes, Al Pacino tells his girlfriend that he will not get into this like his father and his family is going to be fully legitimate. Is this because of your own personality of not considering what people think about you?
2) When the God father’s character becomes old, Marlin brando dies (normally) and Al pacino takes over. But here, when Amitabh’s character reaches its peak, instead of giving it to abhiskek you killed him. Somewhat similar to what happened in Maniratnam’s Nayakudu starring Kamal. There in the same situation his son dies unexpectedly. Is this sheer coincidence?
In Agyaat, which character is portrayed by Aadesh Bharadwaj ?
@Naughty Person – your comments on reaching climax, inviting RGV for sex and seeking sexual advise from Ramu doctor impressed RGV.
I myslef don’t consider that barking .. that’s entertainment : ) … for me atleast !!
Ramu,
I want a pure adrenaline movie from you in near future. Is ‘Rakta Charitra’ going to be it ?
hiiii..
What is the diffrence between Luck, Destiny, Fortune and ‘God’ ???? or its just craps from the persons who don’t conquer their fears of taking decisions…….???
you said that one should set a new goal after reaching his cherished Destination.. but why he should set a new goal if he knows that after reaching it he also will loose his all excitement?? he doesnt enjoy his achievement, so what is the advantage of setting goals???
how can one log out..??? i cant .. plzzzzz helpppp
All this philosophy and gyaan discussed on this blog is all useless and at the end of the day people do what they feel like. Quotes and writings only give manifestation and ultimately justification to someone’s wishful thinking. In the end it remains only wishful.
I love it when Ramuji takes on serious questions and replies with wisdom and humor, like he has done here. It is even better when he writes about film making. This is a pro in full form disseminating info laced with humor and philosophy. Only when he spends entire posts dissing silly replies it feels like watching a Godzilla chomping off a silly goat. It is funny but still nothing more that. Thanks so much for the posts on Camera as a pen and on Sound.
will it affect u if some other director lifts up stories or characters from ur films jst as u do…….[as der is nathin wrong in doin dat] and makes a hit in monetary sense?…….
why do u use fast zooms?…….ur earlier films did not have such cam movements……..[m referin to the fast zoom out frm the video cam display in JANA GANA RANA song]
and one more thin…….in sarkar raj…..wen shankar admits to anita abt killin his bro vishnu der is a strange camera movement as if shankar n anita r sittin on a swing, wat was dat? similar cam movement was der in nishabdh wen jia is jst abt to come n the frame shows vijay standin at the entrance of his house……..
which is the most expensive film u made till date?…….did it gross watever the producer spent on it?
y don’t we see ur RGV factory stamp on the films u make these days?……they too r factory products as the true RGV film factory is ur mind rite?
don’t you ever fall in a dilemma as to how to capture a shot if you have two or more options. Did u ever, after completing a film, regret the way you captured a scene?
I wanted to ask you a thing regarding The Fountainhead.
At a point in the story, Peter Keating shows Howard Roark some of his paintings, to which Roark replies ” It;s too late now, Keating” . How could Roark be right? Is age a barrier? So what if Peter Keating realized that he was late in realizing where his heart was, he nevertheless realized.Doesn’t that statement made by Roark show that he was career centric rather than driven by only self satisfaction?
RGV,
I always felt that the scene in Sarkar 1, where Shankar kills Rashid by drowning him into water was unnecessary. The underwater shots were absolutely unnecessary. I would have felt more emotions had Shankar just have Rashid be pulled down into water and his drowning left to my own imagination, and the rest of the scene could have had only a closeup shot of Shankar. Any reaction ?
This scene from my view was one of the favourite scene for me, as it had that hightened tight revenage kind of reply to answer Rashids intention to deal with Shankar..
Before you start any work, always ask yourself three questions — Why am I doing it? What the results might be? And Will I be successful? Only when you think deeply and find satisfactory answers to these questions, go ahead
whats u r comment on this???
“I’d rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not.” – Kurt Cobain
You said in the article “MY WORLD”… My World consists of Powerful people, Intense music,… etc .. What’s your fav choice of Music which you like to hear repeatedly ? and what exactly you meant by the term “Intense Music” ?

Would you have made RIFLE with the Sridevi of the 80’s ?
13Q. How can I reach you with my script for a narration?
Ans: You can’t because wherever you are at any time I will make sure that I will be a thousand miles away.
P.S: I know that this was a mean and stupid joke but I just not could resist the barb. Seriously, I make films only with my own script ideas.
I completely accept your logic. Yes till now whatever the movies we saw. We called them RGV movies only. Not as Nagarjun’s, Amitab’s ore some one else.
OK now what is this AGYAAT SHORT FILM CONTEST. Don’t say it is just MARKETING for your movie. There is some thing more……
So you will watch all these short movies. Why because you promised winner will work with you / He will get a chance to direct a movie. (according to u r movie website)
I mean there are 1000 ways to tell my story or Idea to you. If you like it we will work with you If not we will be in touch with you through this blog.
In present time if some one makes movie with a subject like Mafia / Horror / Thriller. people will call them (they are inspired by RGV / he had some influence of RGV) no doubt in this. you agree with this or not. But it is true.
Writing this again: (In the near future Is there any plane to make a movie for world wide audience.
I mean Hollywood range movie.)
Want to see some thing like from you.
logic is first you make Shiva Telugu slowly moved to Hindi I think now its time to see some Hollywood movie from U.
Come on its time to move on
Thanks Uncle.
Dear Ramuji,
How are you convinced you have right material/concept in hand to make it in a film?
Do you allow your characters/actor to interpret acting within in frame of story; so that they come into their own? The reason is either they totally rely on you or you rely on them…if it is mixed the final result of their acting is not good isn’t it?
Do you evaluate symbols and motifs at time of script / discussions? case in point ‘PHOONK” “KAUN” ‘BHOOT’
When can we see you making 90 minutes English film; considering that you have had major influence with western cinema? Its going to be a great treat to deliver a super hit in their own backyard!
When is AGYAAT hitting the cinema halls?
RGV,
Did you feel you overdid showing the closeups of Artifacts ? It conveyed the point too loud and too clear. From my view, it was way overdone!
GV,
Did you feel you overdid showing the closeups of Artifacts in Phoonk ? It conveyed the point too loud and too clear. From my view, it was way overdone!
If anyone can remake A Few Good Men in hindi.. iam sure it should/will be you
The introductory scene of Rashid in Sarkar has been lifted from the introduction of the sea smugglers in Vishal Bhrdwaj’s Maqbool.
When can we expect to see Agyaat and Rann?
Around 15 yrs ago i remember you said in a Television interview that…watching yours’ name adjacent to Ilaiyaraja’s name on the first printed poster of Shiva is the most memorable moment in your life….Is that moment alive within you…or just faded…
I said ‘faded’ because you have tasted lots of success after Shiva’s release…
your previous blog page was all black. this one is all black and grey. you really love colours like black, brown and grey. don’t you?
I don’t know the key to Success, but definitely the key to Failure is to please everybody. — XXX
With this kind of attitude how do you manage to be a family man at home.i’m kind of similar to you and i ruled out marriage off my life(though i still have some time to think about it)
Short and Crisp comment about Sridevi… Incase Boney Kapoor doesn’t exist on Earth….
Good morning Ramu.
@ Arun…….there are people like me who do not hav a strong imagination power…….the shot of RASHID drowning underwater was added by RGV specially for me!!!
@your cheers………………………..do not ask RGV TO ‘THINK’………………..he mite say “AGAR SOCHUNGA TOH KARUNGA KAISE” !!!
TO RGV…….do u give importance to story boardin???
Hey Abinitiov,
Go thru all the comments posted by all the readers. You will come across all the questions that Ramu bhai is answering.
Moreover, you can learn a lot from our dear friends here, from each one of their thinking.
Here is my question that I asked Ramu bhai
——————————————————————————————————————————————–
What should be the qualification to become an “assistant Director” under your tutelage.
Lets say some guy, with no minimal experience nor the knowledge of technicalities but with great eye of imagination and passion to make cinema, knocks your door asking for assistant director chance, Will you take him under your umbrella???
Just like Shashi Kapoor said in Deewaar ” Mere paas Maa hai”, This aspiring director says ” mere paas Maa “imagination” hai aur Baap “passion” hai, will you acceot him??
——————————————————————————————————————————————–
@”Naughty”
Hey bro: Thanks for your encouragement. I really appreciate it. You too keep going bro.
A SMALL PIECE OF IMAGINATION
Ramu bhai, here is my small iota of imagination. This scene I imagined during my intermediate days. Just a small scene. Your comments would greatly encourage me. even if you donot comment, I wont stop my imagination.
—————————————————————————————————————————————-
Black screen (in the background raj kapoor’s “awaara hoon, awaara hoon” song is playing)
In the center of black screen the title appears” ABCDEFGH presents”……(disappears)
black screen
In the center of black screen the title appears” UVWXYZ productions”……(disappears)
black screen
As soon as “UVWXYZ productions”disappears on screen, (on one side of the black screen) somebody barge opens a door and shoots two guys and the third guy is sitting. (awaara hoon song is still playing in the background)
(camera is behind the shooter and his dark body shape is shown from back). Its a smoke filled room, (light is behind the sitting person, so even he not shown clearly).
the shooter walks up front towards the sitting person, (camera is just behind him, following him). He then focuses the gun on him and thenn gunshot (Boom sound…leading to Black screen).
Then followed by another gunshot (boom sound on the black screen) resulting in the appearance title “SHOOLAM” one bottom right-hand side of the black screen. Then the titles appear one by one (awaara hoon, awaara hoon song is still playing and it plays throughout titles untill the my name i.e., directors name appears).
then the scene shifts to a small irani cafe, where “awaara hoon” song is still playing in a radio just besides the cashier of the irani hotel. From the radio, the camera slowly moves onto a table where a group of four guys smiking and sipping tea………….

Hi Ramu, Do you have a gun license ? If u have used the gun how s the experience ?
// Seriously, I make films only with my own script ideas.//
This is absolute true. Recently I watched Satya, exactly as you said it reflects most of your thoughts in your movies.
One of them I want to quote,
- When Satya escapes from theatre, human rights question khandelkar why he taken such an irresponsible decision. He simply says “He taken that decision as he felt that was the right decision at that time”. Although he says in a simple way that’s absolute true without any dramatization.
I saw many of these kinds of examples in your movies after observing your blog.
I feel you will modify most of the dialogues according to your taste. I feel even if anyone works with you I don’t think he can gain enormous experience.
One has to work on his ideas how he wants to see, how he wants to listen the dialogues/background score and how he wants to see the movie as a whole. This will come based on his experience according to his interaction with individuals, movies etc and the knowledge he gained out of it.
Again if one gets an opportunity to work under talented people like you, it will be like a shortcut to gain more knowledge in short period of time. It will be good experience to work under directors like you, but there is nothing to stop him if he believes in his ideas even without working under experienced directors like you.
Whenever I read any of your writings, I feel very confident and rejuvenate myself.
Recently I saw the some of your interviews which you gave to TV5 and TV9. O god..!! I expected that you are going to blast at them, but you are enjoying the frustration in their faces and make the programme more fun :-)
‘Raghuvaran’s name ‘BHAVANI’ in Shiva..’DURGA’ is Jagapathi babu’s name in ‘Gayam’..
MADHU’ is Urmila’s in ‘Anaganaga oka roju’..
All these names are reverse of human sexuality..Why had you choosen all these in opposite?did you think it is something creative? if so,how..?
http://www.mrithyunjaya.blogspot.com
If a guy has good imagination will you give him a chance and take him as an assistant director under your umbrella?
Ans: Hello, I don’t give chances. I only take chances. Also it primarily depends on good imagination in whose view and secondly if there is space under the umbrella
Imagination is subjective here.Ideally my imagination gotta be such that it should pass the muster meeting the prerequisites of RAMU OR it could be such that it cons ramu and gets a chance.
Secondly i want to get clarified here.U have seen helluva people eulogizing your unimaginable passion that eventually made what u are today.Ramu! is it not that we are connecting with your success, the megalomaniac film maker that u are and owning your success in guise of passion, zeal and love for cinema of yours?Passion with out success doesn’t get the patronage,ah?
In one of your interviews u said,” U always liked the hollywood.U would often marvel at their vision”. which led to you thinking,” if they can,why can not i have the same vision?”.I have asked it umpteen times but couldnt get the answer. How far does it help or necessary to have exposure to world cinema(specially hollywood)?
Any body who is patient enough can go through this article i have written and can let me know what u think of it.
Terrorism in India,An insight
India has been confronting and grappling with no other issue as that of terrorism post independence. The roots of terrorism in India can be traced back to the state sponsored Azad Kashmir movement in POK(Pakistan occupied Kashmir) which targeted the civilians and the Indian army in the valley.Post 1990,Terrorism was spread to other parts of India and can be attributed to the raise of fundamentalist outfits which played a lions share in spreading it.In trying to whip up fanatic religious passions, there by gaining political mileage, the Hindu fundamentalist’s carried out the demolition of Babri Masjid.what followed next is the 1993 Mumbai blast in the name of retaliation. The sum effect of these and the subsequent events in the years that followed has led to the polarization among the two religions and the gap has widened as never before which made it easy for the vested interests specially in Pakistan and also in India to operate effectively in spreading terrorism all over India.
Every time a terrorist attack happens in India do we see the organization behind the attacks attributing it to ghastly genocide attacks on minorities that happened earlier. While none can support the mindless blood-bath carried out by the terrorist, its no denying the fact that India has failed to ensure secularism many a times, there by creating a sense of insecurity among minorities.India in its constitution states that It stands for secularism and communal harmony.Ever since India’s Independence, the nation has witnessed two ghastly genocides, one in 1984 against Sikh’s and the other in Gujarat 2002.The Godhra riots resulted in the massacre of 4000 odd innocent people, the atrocities include gang rapes against women of all ages of the minority community and thousands of families with out a shelter ending up in rehabilitation centres.Deplorable is the fact that the culprits and conspirators of the riots were left unpunished. There was more to it than the the reaction or aftermath of burning of the train in godhra which claimed the lives of 58 innocent Karasevaks. It was a planned genocide against a section of minority intended to alienate them in all walks of life so-ciao-economically.Terrorism in India is not ostensibly because of the Islamic fundamentalist extremist groups (SIMI, Indian Mujahideen to name a few) but also the rampant Hindu fundamentalist forces(VHP,Bhajarangadal to name a few) which are an equally destructive influence on the nation.”While the entire Islam is maligned for the acts of few,it is suicidal to not foresee the repercussions of the rampant Hindu fundamentalism. The atrocities against Christians in parts of Orissa,Karnataka and kerala too manifest the fact that minorities are far from being called safe in this country.Extremism be it in the name of Allah or in the name of lord Ram should never be condoned and should be curbed with utter disdain failing would result in the vicious cycle of action-reaction yet again.”
Our neighbouring country, specially its intelligent wing(ISI) whose sole aim is to hinder the progress of INDIA rather than striving for the growth of Pakistan aids the terrorist outfits in various forms ranging from training, financial aid and providing ammunition to that of strategic help in carrying out their operation. Its an irony that Pakistan has fallen prey to its very own state sponsored terrorism. The extremist out fits like,Lashkar–Taiba,Jaish-e-Mohammed started to operate in an organized manner by employing recruiters all over India paying salaries to those who join the organization emulating the corporate process of recruiting, training and paying compensation..The vulnerable, unemployed Muslim youth were easily influenced by the hate propaganda resulting in a frantic religious fervour.Recent blasts in Delhi,Bangalore allegedly indicate the involvement of a Jamia Millia Islamia University student and also a soft ware engineer both happened to be educated Muslim youth. This is a testimony to the fact that religious chauvinism in individuals is playing a vital role in drawing many to be associated with extremist outfits.
The government should take measures in ensuring that Muslim youth is educated, provided employment and given opportunities to grow.No citizen of India should be deprived of the right to grow by virtue of his religion. The Islamic religious heads should stress the need for evolution in Islam rather than passing religious decrees which take the progressive world to the medieval years when religion opposed any progress.Never does Islam preach not to grow, not to be deprived of employment. When the entire world is progressing, what point being averse to learn science and English? In what better way,the Madrasahs provide better opportunity for employment ,there by growth than the main-stream education?.Islam ought to evolve as did the rest of religions which give Individuals a choice in adhering to religious ideologies or principles. The intellectual Muslim community all over the world should unite and protest against the ghastly acts of extremist outfits, the moves of chauvinistic clerics that hinders the progress of individuals, their right to grow there by alienating them from the rest of progressive world.
Post 9/11,terrorism has become a global epidemic, with targets and victims all over the world.Terrorist outfits started using state-of-art technology, specially the Al-Qaeda becoming so lethal with its Modus operandi. The U.S sponsored war-on-terror led to war-on-world by the terrorists. The extremist outfits in Pakistan started working in tandem with Al-Qaeda making them destructive than ever before,India becoming vulnerable as never before. The 26/11 attacks on Mumbai clearly make it evident that the sole aim of the terrorists is to hinder the economic progress(India is fast emerging with 6% growth despite the recession) of India there by ensuring that tourism is dented and no new foreign investment comes in, making India an unsafe bet to invest in.Its not easy preventing the determined terrorist outfits from operating but the effect and damage of an impending attack can be foiled, greatly reduced being well prepared to face any precarious situation, being well equipped with crisis management. The U.S has seen no attack post 9/11 while India has seen numerous attacks post the attack on Parliament including the recent 26/11 attacks in Mumbai. The security loop holes, the failure of our intelligence wings, the lack of coordination between the centre-states,the way media went over board in showing the live coverage of the rescue operation in 26/11 attacks manifest the fact that we as a nation are far from serious and determined in curbing and facing terrorism.4000 innocents have been victimized making India next to Iraq in terms of causalities of terrorism in the last 5 years..The politicians in India lack the conviction to curb terrorism. When Chechen terrorists took hostage of 200 people in a theatre in masco, the then Russian president Putin didn’t succumb to their demands ,instead went for the kill which entailed losing the lives of civilians while our Indian government let loose the dreaded terrorist Maulana Masood Azhar (who was instrumental in the attack on Indian parliament ),in exchange for the passengers in the 1999 Kandahar hijack episode. The Scotland intelligence wing could nab the terrorists barely days after the Glasgow incident while our courts and investigating agencies still continue the trail of 1993 Bombay blasts.A lot has to be reformed in the way our courts, investigating agencies and Intelligence bureau operate.Media and the citizens should play a responsible role instead of resorting to knee-jerk reactions. The politicians instead of resorting to mudslinging in the hour of crisis should unite and bring stringent laws to bring the culprits under justice.Intelligence Bureue has to be more effective, the center should work in unison with the state authorities. This way we can ensure that it’s near impossible for the terrorists to break the security cordon there by preventing any likely mishap.Military action against Pakistan may lead to an impending world war-3 with both the countries nuclear armed and the rest of the world taking sides. It needs a generation change to forget the wounds, history has created. The Kashmir issue should be resolved by dialogue there by ensuring that both the counties progress and prosper. The world should unite in curbing terrorism which knows no religion,no place. The U.S foreign policy over the years is a cause of concern and it plays a greater role in curbing or spreading terrorism in the years ahead.when human kind cant live in peace and harmony,it invades on itself in proving the dominance. As is said by Mahatma,” Eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind”.
@ramu
Its a fantasy of sorts for me to imagine u going through the article and express your opinion. Not that i would bask in you replying but its great if it is judged by a genius like you.
i am looking to assit you, where can i send my work samples.
why do bollywood keep appealing to people not to get pirated prints of their crapy films when they themselves are chindi chors (petty thieves) stealing ideas/stories/films from hollywood (mostly) … bhaat a stoopid joke.
Those who do not want to imitate anything, produce nothing.

Now that you yourself said it in your blog in open space, sree467@gmail.com / 91 9980953402 is waiting to check its luck or to put in other words, to give u a chance to take a chance and about me, i’m a software engineer, have 3 mins of edited filmmaking experience and 30,0000 minutes of passion.

Confusion and Aag maybe??
The intro scene is good. How about building a story as well?
@ Sripal
If it has to be overlooked, it will be overlooked irrespective of the 30,0000 times you paste your “passion” in here.
In any case, do you really think RGV is going to pay any heed to your request?? I doubt it.
Dont waste your time in waiting for someone to acknowledge your work if you truly have the passion!
@ Pradeep Maddy
It is not JD who is making the film with Nagarjuna’s son.
One new director by name “Vasu varma” is directing Nagarjuna’s son in a film called “JOSH”. This is similar and inspired from SHIVA. JD is playing the baddie role (like Bhavani).
@Ruchi…
May be. I never thought that I would get access to one of the busiest directors of the industry to ask questions and on top of that, get responses and that happened. 4 yrs back I met one of the best directors of Telugu (Bapu, first one to shoot a film out door in Tollywood, one of the best cartoonists of India) and asked him for a chance as assistant director. He himself called be after three days and told that that was too late and told me to try for his next film. Things changes down the time and I never got back to him.
May be you are right. But this is one of my 3000 attempts to get myself better as a filmmaker. I’m making a short for AGYAAT contest and thats one other attempt. He may reply, or may not. If he doesn’t, All I lose is some time and some respect. I’m a bit desperate because it is the best time for me for this (Later, the worser because of some personal reasons).
And thanks for your concern. I really mean it.

@ramu bhai
I am following in your foot steps.U wrote an article to get access to ramoji rao.I wrote one so that i could transform from a no body to some body.I reckon i addressed the issue of terrorism well.If not RGV,@staff go through it and let him have a look it.

I think you watch these manipulated news channels much.
You forgot to mention about KASHMIR Vale in your article are whatever it is.
Kashmir pundits suffered a lot than any other. Godhra is a small one. Just news channels showed it on big screen through TVs. Did u ever hear anything about these pundits?
May be one day I will make one movie on this.
Just go through the population % in J&K after Independence and now. You will get your answer
you also said about “The atrocities against Christians in parts of Orissa, Karnataka and Kerala”
What are these people doing really in INDIA & what they want to achieve here. Ask yourself you will get the answer. If not watch this movie THE PAINTED VEIL the director will explain you about these TRUSTS & MISHENRIES in this movie why they are going around the world doing social service. I think it is also business.
There is a famous quotation said by news business tycoon called William Randolph Hearst: “you provide the prose poems. I’ll provide the war.” Orson Wells made movie on this tycoon it is CITIZEN KANE
Don’t believe blindly whatever the news you watch on news channels & news papers. They will get funds from foreign countries heavily to telecast this kind of manipulated news.
Sometimes I think they are working for other countries and against to our country & purely money minded (Ex: TAJ Hotel – RGV & Vilasrao Deshmukh this unnecessary news costs his CM chair). Some people completely forgot the main incident because of this news. They came on the road on this news only.
“That’s what RGV is making RANN on news channels… wait and watch it”
And we the people of Indians occasionally (Mach between IND & PAK, are something like) remember that we are Indians. Then we will say “I love INDIA” one cheap comment. After that you will forget about your country. You don’t have any responsibility for this nation.
@ Sripal and Ruchi,
I agree with you Sripal. You got to be in it to win it. If you need to achiev some thing the least you can do is to ask for help. Though you can’t demand for help.
Hope RGV is reading all the comments here, now that Ruchi and I also highlighted what Sripal wrote in just one comment.
Good luck to you Sripal.
@Sripal
I really appreciate your dedication and commitment towards your Goal.As of now, I can say, All the best My Friend.

Good imagination in Public view is more than enough My Dear Great Indian Creative Director.
RGV,
Do you really think without social programming that we are given right from kinder garden, we are basically animals ?
I got this thought when I was at my cousin’s dentist’s clinic, I saw a 2 year old kid tenderly biting his 3 year old brother, and latter he started biting his dad. Now the interesting thing that I found out was the kid probably would never have gone to school, and would be learning how to urinate on a toilet and hence had very little programming done.
His act of biting his brother and dad reminded me how little tiger cubs or puppies play with each other when they are young, and since the kid had less programming of realizing that it was an embarrassing scene.
So are we animals with intelligence ? Or is my observation stupid ?
YES We are SOCIAL ANIMALS saying that every animal is social starting from ants ; ants follow a queue(You cant get the details from Discovery Channel ) not like we humans who always try to break the queue, elephants also have some socila norms.
@
surap_parus
my name is siva prasad.i didnt beg you to read and react. If it is only related to films, how many are confined to that?Lotta people ask personal questions, opinion on their personal opinions.any way leave it.I dont want to involve in any personal battles
@ Arun,
You put this question only to RGV, but somehow I am tempted to ask you something.
You wonder if without social programming humans are basically animals.
Then I wonder if animals too have some sort of programming. Since animals behave in a certain way, which could be termed as ‘animal instincts’ when humans behave like them.
Are not animals social in their own way?
I think the only major catalytic difference between humans and animals is ‘ ability to speak’.
I also wonder why at the end of the day we look down upon ‘animal behaviour in some way or the other in comparison to human beings.
Sorry, I may be completely wrong here, sounding foolish as well :P
@ mikeyiconoclast :
Since others are not confined to only Filmy stuff, you are also … wah…
As already RGV Clearly said, Its a public forum, any one can involve in any personnel battles and
of course once you put it on this blog, there is no personnel.
every one can understand your pseudo Democratism.
Don’t get excite my friend.
Better search for other platforms to expose your barren thoughts.
@surap_parus
ok genius,i will be doing that.
@Ruchi
speaking attribute not only confined to human being. Animals and birds are even speaks(communicate) in their own language.Thing is, we cannot understand their language,Of course, their scope of language may be limited.
Fundamental difference between human and Animal is ability of Thinking.
Please excuse me if i am wrong.
Of course Srikanth.. we do enjoy in both ways
A valuable lesson in Business Management – Johnny wanted to have sex with a girl in his office,
but she belonged to someone else…One day, Johnny got so frustrated that he went up to
her and said, “I’ll give you a $100 if you let me screw you. But the girl said NO. Johnny said, “I’ll be fast. I’ll throw the money on the floor, you bend down, and I’ll be finished by the time you pick it up ” She thought for a moment and said that she would have to consult her boyfriend… So she called her boyfriend and told him the story. Her boyfriend says, “Ask him for $200, pick up the money very fast, he won’t even be able to get his pants down.” So she agrees and accepts the proposal. Half an hour goes by, and the boyfriend is waiting for his girlfriend to call. Finally, after 45 minutes, the boyfriend calls and asks what happened. She responded, “The bastard used coins!”
Management lesson: Always consider a business proposal in its entirety before agreeing to it and getting screwed!
@mickey_Iconoclast
I have a question :
Who said the count of massacred or killed people of gujarat riots 4000 ?
Did u read the UPA governement’s Gujarat riots report which is submitted to parliament(it says 1044 people were killed in the violence)?
Even the SO called media claims its 2000 , u doubled it , ha?
First media said 980 or so , later one guy asked modi that its 1200 ,then modi said when did 200 come after riots?
After 5 or 6 years media said 2000, I think , after 10 years they will call it 10000 people..
Remember ,I am against any type of fundamentalism.
see this link and get the facts correct:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2002_Gujarat_violence
You should have searched before writing an article about such issue!!!!
@ Surap Parus
@ Ruchi (hi!)
The fundamental difference is definitely thinking.
Birds make a nest. Humans make a house. Fine.Thousand years later, birds still make a nest, humans make bandra-worli sea-link.
Birds are born, they reproduce, they die.Humans are born, they study, get a job, get married, reproduce, take care of their children, and die.Except for a few of them who stand alone, and create.
So are we really animals, with evolved thinking, who are socially programmed to become lesser evolved animals?
@ Ruchi, Smile and Surap
Thanks for the support.
@ Mr. Umbrella,
You must be watching it ah ?
Ramu,
Are u going to touch kashmir issue a bit in RANN?

OR
U just used those real documented scenes for your film??

Looks like RGV is taking his blog more seriously than his films these days. There aren’t any theatrical releases after phoonk, but see how the number of posts are increasing.
Haan Ramu?? you are thinking its better you are getting immediate response from your followers on the blog than waiting for a few months to make a movie right?? Admitt it.. :-)
Ramu, please change the post after the number of comments reach 100. After that people are writing to each other and you lose your I, me, myself factor. Just a free advice. hehe..
I hope you don`t die early like a MJ or Elvis or Kurt Cobain.
- Sriram.
Hi Ramu,
I read somebody commenting about not to make movies like James. Let me tell you i was in Germany in 2007. There were a couple of Germans who really liked James. So its not that a movie is good or bad its just the perception of the movie. As these guys had not seen your previous movies so they did not have preconceived notion about the movie they were going to see.
–Amit.
Ideology is the primary reason.Money is just secondary and as a means to achieve the goal it is used!!
like influencing the local people and for transportation etc…it is used..
Nobody in this world cut his throat just for MONEY and Your article never said anything abt ideology..
I don’t understand, How on earth you compare Kandhahar and Moscow incidents???
Both are different situations!!
Did we let the Mumbai terrorists go with their demands, which happened in our own land ??
>>.I MEANT HOW ORGANIZED THE TERRORIST OUT FITS BECAME…
Yes ,they are !! Even the Osama dies the other day Alqaeda continues to run Successfully..
No intelligence bureau could get the pin pointed information of where the attacks are gonna be held and blah..blah..
They will only get info about attacks are planned in city and may /may not happen …
Our intelligence have the info and It is very very hard to pin point where and when and how they attack in this large country!!!!
Observe how RGV writes an article and mainly observe the flow of article and u can learn a lot from it.
Don’t jump here and there!!
Above all , Don’t be fancy with your English language , use words where appropriate.
Your article looked like a TV9 commentary to me!!!
@srinivas
The aim of any terrorist organization is to lure people in the name of cause and kill people.what fucking ideology is unknown to any one,ah?(Extremism be it in the name of Allah or in the name of lord Ram should never be condoned and should be curbed with utter disdain failing would result in the vicious cycle of action-reaction yet again isnt it the cause,i mean the religion?Didn’t i talk talk about the kashmir issue?).Secondly i told you ,i am a no body as u are.Its no surprise that u continue to find faults with what i have written.Neither my article nor your comments gotta be taken seriously. Before u fuck my article,i would like to see how u can write a small piece of article as RGV does, mind you it gotta make sense unless your half backed understanding of your views.I reckon that wont even have the sentence structure properly, forget about emulating tv9 commentary.
@ To all my dear blogger friends here
All “we” do is condemn the terrorist action. what else did we do?
“theevranga khandisthannam….ganthe…..khandisthannam ante khandisthanamm…..ganthe”
Yes. I said “WE”…..dont blame govt, what did you or I did whenever there was terrorist activity (except lighting candles)??
dont waste your time…nothing will change…if my views hurt anyone, NO OFFENDs.
“thinnama padukunnamma, thellarindha”……
Let me give a movie example
In RANG DE BASANTHI:
In the movie, initially it is shown in news that there are several MiG crashes etc etc. Govt is corrupted etc etc.
But what did those four protaginists do at that time…just enjoy life….relax…chill out and NOTHING ELSE….and felt “apne ku kaiku miya…leave it”
BUT when one of their friend’s fiance was killed who was dear to them as well, then they took guns/law into their hands but untill then eventhough they were playing freedom fighters roles in a documentary, they never felt like true citizens.
That is exactly true with current state of our youth/our citizens etc…
You guys are fighting here, writing big essays on terrorism etc etc but untill something happens to you/your family/near ones you wont take up any cause.
so dont waste time…watch movies…chill out….relax…drive auto like me…..earn livelihood…
our great Indian journalists try to capture a murder and telecast them live in TV but those journalists/cameramen will never stop that murder…..this is fact
again, if my views hurt anyone, excuse me….
Lets learn something from RGV here. THIS BLOG IS FOR MOVIES / SEX/ VODKA.
EAT MOVIES, HAVE SEX AND DRINK ONLY VODKA…..yeh dil maange more

This is the main problem for this country Bro – They way you are thinking even some times I also think same like you.

The questions raised through the abow article. For all the questions “answer is this only….”
When ever we people of India changes… Then only INDIA will changes…. you will see super power INDIA are some thing more like that brothers.
Come on stop fighting on this blog….. Think constructively
I make a humble request to the entire fellow blogger’s, that we already have enough Divisions in the form of Caste, Community and what not. So let not go with further division. At this Juncture of Global Competition and particularly India emerging as a Global Player, We as an INDIANS should stand first and take advantage. ‘WE HAVE PROBLEMS, SO LET’S DEBATE, LET’S TALK AND LET’S RESOLVE BUT LET’S not to blame each other…..
Remember AMBANI Brother …. (Do business in constructive way not in destructive way) Now they are billionaires just followed this. Divided RELIANCE for a purpose – They wanted to go worldwide instead of going with one brand made two & made his father proud.

Love the country brother
Do some good to the other
Hollow words will not matter
Do things that are better

A country is made of its own people.

RGV is gonna rip the media in RANN. i am sure he would present how medis is compelled to operate the way they are doing now.Never can he show a solution for every one knows that every thing is gonna be ideal when every one is ideal.Thats not what i wanted to say, just addressed the issue of terrorism.
Dont you think all of us excel, fail…infact LIVE just becos of some known/unknown FEAR?.
being a materialistinc to the core what do u see the use of this blog to u
i admire ur gut as well as stupidity in making aag
‘Raghuvaran’s name ‘BHAVANI’ in Shiva..’DURGA’ is Jagapathi babu’s name in ‘Gayam’..
MADHU’ is Urmila’s in ‘Anaganaga oka roju’..
All these names are reverse of human sexuality..Why had you choosen all these in opposite?did you think it is something creative? if so,how..?
and how do you feel if we call you as ‘ramulamma”, “gopamma”?

@ Arun (Big Hi ! ;) )
I agree with you and Surap that we have the power to think.
But I still contemplate when you say “Birds are born, they reproduce, they die.Humans are born, they study, get a job, get married, reproduce, take care of their children, and die.”
Humans have defined their own lifestyle – to study, to work, to earn money, to marry, etc, etc.
I believe even animals have defined their own lifestyles in their own way. Just because we have discovered and invented technology and other advancements in our lifestyles, we consider ourselves to be superior. We may be, I do agree to a great extent.
However, for the sake of this debate, I maintain my doubt – Similarly, in the eyes of animals, they might be more superior than us in many other ways.
Sure, we do belong to a category of mammals.
When you say social programming, how do you define that? Where is the social programming when humans have sex? how different is it from that of animals? Is it not an animal instinct?
Other similarity could be ‘fight-or-flight response’
Also, since some people here are talking so much about terrorism, i would like to add – Isn’t killing and fighting also animal instinct? And we call ourselves superior and socially programmed!
As long as we have black and white, as long as we have east and west, as long as we have hindu and muslim, as long as we have India and Pak.. we are no better than animals, birds.. infact worser.
smilie u r rite……RGV shud change the post after the comments reach 100…….people r jst sendin messages to one another over here……without reference to the content in the post.
hey ramu , where are you………..this folks are making your blog to common plot to play.

ramu write smthing before people here get frustrated…………
ok…i want to tell a small story on business management…Johnny wanted to have sex with a girl in his office, but she belonged to someone else…One day, Johnny got so frustrated that he went up to her and said, “I’ll give you a $100 if you let me screw you.
She responded, “The bast@@@ used coins!”
Management lesson: Always consider a business proposal in its entirety before agreeing to it and getting screwed!

Do you still do the same thing with your proteges’ films what you did with Tarani long back (ghost directing)? James director did accuse you of that!
The Polite Way to Pee!
During one of her daily classes, a teacher trying to teach good manners, asked her students the following question: ‘Michael, if you were on a date having dinner with a nice young lady, how would you tell her that you have to go to the bathroom?’ Michael said: ‘Just a minute I have to go pee.’ The teacher responded by saying: ‘That would be rude and impolite. What about you Sherman, how would you say it?’ Sherman said: ‘I am sorry, but I really need to go to the bathroom. I’ll be right back.’ ‘That’s better, but it’s still not very nice to say the word bathroom at the dinner table. And you, little Johnny, can you use your brain for once and show us your good manners?’ Johnny said ‘I would say: Darling, may I please be excused for a moment? I have to shake hands with a very dear friend of mine, whom I hope to introduce you to after dinner.’ The teacher fainted…
There is a scene in Kannathil Muthamittal (Amritha) by Mani Ratnam which is of 2 minutes length. There is a Korean movie in which there is a fight scene shot in a single shot of length around 5 min. Obviously it needs lots of takes it needs perfect outcome by all the actors, the Camera team etc. It extends the production time, budget and needs additional attention. And the only reason for doing this kind of things is to prove the talent of the maker. Did/do you ever try for stuff that just proves your talent but doesn’t add any value to the film ?
Did you ever thought of working with Sadashiv Amrapurkar?
for the movie SHIVA, you said the name Shiva was earlier meant for Raghuvaran’s character. and later when Nagarjuna liked the name, he wanted his character’s name to be Shiva.
In that case, I assume, there would have been a different title considered. what was that, if there was any different title?
Did you ever thought of making a “Dracula” movie? If yes, whom would you cast as Dracula?
Satya,Company and D are considerd as “Indian Gangstar Triology” and are compared to
“God Father Triology” wat do u say abt this?
You might have been greatly influenced by the music/background score of Sholay, Arjun by RD Burman which made you to cast him as music director for Antham (I agree that Antham’s background score is by Manisharma). Could you please write a piece on the great RDBurman.
—————————————————————————————————————————————
I think the theatres Sangeeth 70mm, Skyline 70mm and Surya70mm had great influence on you.
Do u think that if ‘D’ was directed by u then it would also be a gr8 hit like satya and company?
Is FrirendShip is taking Advantage from other?
Whether Vishal Bhardwaj assisted u in any of ur movies? Becos his movies some where resembles ur kind of movies…
Money and women. They’re two of the strongest things in the world. The things you do for a woman you wouldn’t do for anything else. Same with money. -Satchel Paige
The Difference between Focusing on Problems and Focusing on Solutions
Case 1
When NASA began the launch of astronauts into space, they found out that
the pens wouldn’t work at zero gravity (ink won’t flow down to the writing
surface). To solve this problem, it took them one decade and $12 million.
They developed a pen that worked at zero gravity, upside down, underwater,
in practically any surface including crystal and in a temperature range
from below freezing to over 300 degrees C.
And what did the Russians do…?? They used a pencil.
Case 2
One of the most memorable case studies on Japanese management was the case of the empty soapbox, which happened in one of Japan’s biggest cosmetics companies. The company received a complaint that a consumer had bought a soapbox that was empty. Immediately the authorities isolated the problem to the assembly! line, which transported all the packaged boxes of soap to the delivery department. For some reason, one soapbox went through the assembly line empty. Management asked its engineers to solve the problem. Post-haste, the engineers worked hard to devise an X-ray machine with high-resolution monitors manned by two people to watch all the soapboxes that passed through the line to make sure they were not empty. No doubt, they worked hard and they worked fast but they spent a whoopee amount to do so.
But when a rank-and-file employee in a small company was posed with the same problem, he did not get into complications of X-rays, etc., but instead came out with another solution. He bought a strong industrial electric fan and pointed it at the assembly line. He switched the fan on, and as each soapbox passed the fan, it simply blew the empty boxes out of the line.
Moral
Always look for simple solutions. Devise the simplest possible solution that solves the problems.
Always Focus on solutions & not on problems.

Since many years wanted to say you are the best and i got an opportunity to say from this site.
I am a regular visitor of this site,i know you dont like big mails but i cannot cut down then this :)
Looking out for Raktha Charithra.
Deleting our irritating comments is ridiculous. Even many of your films are irritating.
Ans: I got a fantastic idea. Why don’t you just stay away from both my films and my blog. …………Bye.
Some times u react like a child.of course you yourself admitted that U didn’t let go off the childish instincts.
Imagination is subjective here.Ideally my imagination gotta be such that it should pass the muster meeting the prerequisites of RAMU OR it could be such that it cons ramu and gets a chance.
isnt it? U seem to talk in certain sense and people take it for granted.U say that any body with a passion to tell a story can direct and i am gonna take a chance with them.Lotta people with run of the mill factions stories too identify with the category u are looking for. That isnt to be.Its meeting ” How u define passion” its meeting ” your definition of talent”
@ jokes apart screw my comments too and yours also
Ramu bhayya sojarae kya? Teen dinhogaya bhayya ?kuch na kuch bolona!!!!
Ramu,
You redefined Brahamanandam character’s in your Telugu movies aka Khan dad and Michael Jackson. It was a fresh lease of comedy with seriousness on brahmi’s face.
how did you come up with these characterization’s?
“I want to talk to Nellore Pedda reddy right now…..” :) :) :)
Ok let me mock one of Ram’s comments WHICH TRULY DESERVES it
Thank you Naughty. If you promise not to tell anybody let me confess that I was actually getting jealous of you taking attention away from me.-Ram
Thank you Ram, i promise on ur blog and ur reactions to reactions, i will NOT TELL ANYONE in this world that u were geting jealous of me. Kasam se…i swear on ur latest movie……..
@ Naughty Person
I have just one thing to tell you :
Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people.
I think you know best where you stand !
@Mohammad Mirza Khaled Ahmad Tuglak Sheik Pasha..
Oh boi..its tiring to type that name. I better resort to Naughty. :-))
But I must admit, you are much more entertaining (now that you toned down the Naughtiness a lil) than RGV’s posts.
Looks like you are SPAMMED.
I am saying sorry to mickey and Ramu , I never ridicule anybody in future because i learned that it’s a complete time waste!!
I will pursue my passions(Computers, books and films) and let others do what ever they want!!
I got a question to ramu :
Wouldn’t you be disturbed for some time when somebody criticized you so much ??
@ were u disturbed and said sorry?
Iam expecting a movie like “basic instinct” from you . Not that you are totally perverted but for your admiration for beauty.
@Vaishak,
Man where are you? I am not seeing your comments so much of late.
What happened to you ?
I love to read your long(not so long, though) comments !!!
Anyway, keep posting!!
An unsolicited piece of comment : I don’t think this is a right platform to ask RGV a chance, buddy.
Anyway keep trying, Did u know how sidhartha got a chance from Mani sir? I read on a website that he bombarded mani’s mail box with daily mails asking for a chance ,then after that he got a call from mani sir. I don’t know whether this is true or not??
RGV didn’t ridiculed you when you asked about posting the synopsis of a script and that itself shows respect for you.I think you are the first person who not been ridiculed regarding the script .
Best to You!!!
Referring to movies like James and Shiva 2006, I think the concept behind the movies was interesting…just that it wasn’t made of RGV standards or rather rephrase it and say that it did not meet my expectations…but the movies were still interesting….it was all about power..Shiva 2006 was a good one, except the fact that villain was boring and I believe the similar character was portrayed in the film Sarkar Raaj but in a different fashion…!!
I was watching ” Luck by Chance” the other day and I could see the shades of Naach…just that Luck by chance happened to be made with commercial elements and a better camera and lot of guest appearances….there was lust involved in Luck by Chance, where as it was romance in Naach..which made Naach more pure!!! However, I have to admit that both the movies were equally interesting…
Thank you for the blog Ramu…. It has more thoughts than a novel…
To mere Naughty Bhai,
autojaani says:In that case of naming the movie as Shiva, I assume, there would have been a different title considered if Bhavani’s name was assigned to Shiva’s character, so what would have been the title of Shiva then? Your answer was “Bhavani”
Yes. Indeed I thought of this too, as the original title. but I was just curious to know, if there was any other title in mind other than SHIVA (or Bhavani).

Naughty bhai
This St. Mary’s Centenary Junior College is in the same compound as St. Mary’s High School where Ramu bhai studied. I feel proud that I am associated to an institution where Ramu bhai got his primary education.
Not sure why..but i have this feeling that U & “NAUGHTYPERSON” are one & the same..along the lines of fakeiplplayer/fakestevejobs ;)
What will RGV’s epitaph say? “For sex, sex, movies and glory!” :-)
I know you don’t care about after death scenario, but for argument’s sake what would it be?
Many times you proclaimed that you hate normal marriage life. But how did you imagine and picturize “sarasalu chaalu srivaru” song in Shiva (1989)?
What are the three main aspects/things that women like in you? How do you manage to patao women inspite of your craziness?
What are your thoughts on marriage?
When I am fully drunk you are the only one with whom I want to talk. Why?
Do you advise your loved ones to follow your philosophy of life?
triumbakeshwar stinks.. its just an insult to the genius sculptor/architect
10. Destiny is not a chance but it has to be by choice. If something has to be achieved it should not be waited for.
Ans: Superb.
yeah but destiny is something we can try to achieve but what we reach at is a chance.
it cant be all calculated.
Small goals are not destiny.
your comments on the film “The Dark Knight”
hii,
Iam a great fan of Ayn Rand as you are., especially fountainhead and Atlas shrugged.
We generally tend to start new things with the things we really admire about!! In your case it was direction and movies.
Then why haven’t you made any movie in which characters are potrayed similar to Howard Roark or John Galt??
Have you ever tried to make a film with Chiranjeevi garu? what is ypur opinion on him?
ohh u came to vizag ….. ohh I missed u then I am a vizagite , can I know what made u visit vizag
Watch out for background music in your movies (needs to be improved a lot I feel)
Hey ramu , i liked ur weired answers … i dont like talking like this.
Hai ,your education helped anything to grow in your carrier.
