Dustbin Fortunes
When I was hanging out around Annapurna Studios trying to get a break, I used to attend the music composing sessions of “Collector Gari Abbayi”. In the course of those sessions whenever its music director Chakravarti and the director B.Gopal used to go for lunch I used to chat up with the music director’s assistant and once in a while he used to sing tunes which he himself composed. I was very impressed with many of his tunes and one day I described to him a scene from “SHIVA” the way I was intending to shoot it and I asked him about what kind of music he thinks should be there in that scene and he replied that there should not be any music in that scene. I was mighty impressed with the answer especially as it came from a musician and I committed to him that if ever I get a break I will sign him as my music director.

The Psychological aspect of BackGround Music
I was always fascinated with Background Music. I saw the film “ALIEN” 17 times in Vijayawada, Urvashi theatre, out of which at least 3 of the shows I just shut my eyes so that the visual won’t disturb my concentration on the music. I used to take in a tape-recorder in a bag to record [...]

Memories of the Cycle chain
.. It’s amazing for me the sheer number of people the way they remember the impact that “Shiva” had on them. Recently I was travelling from Hyderabad to Vizag and after a few minutes into the flight the passenger next to me asked me who I was as he felt that I looked familiar. When [...]

Well, I have been punched, kicked and almost been killed by so many others for so many other things I said. Unfortunately for many of you out there, I didn’t die.

Re-work
Many commented on whether I would speak or behave like this if I was not successful. The word success itself is highly relative. People constantly live in either a fear of losing or in a hope of gaining.

Work
We are born, we are tended to by our parents, we go to school, spend years getting educated without having the faintest idea of what exactly education means, and the day we truly understand it our education would have been finished.
