@Maria,

That's such a ridiculous thought of yours!! LOL!! SB inviting me for his premier..

@Seshu: LOL...what the hell was that? It reminded me of those old movies, where the in the climax scene, the characters assemble in a queue and generally its in a single camera frame....the comedian and his lady love ( read: The domestic help or gardner) usually stand at the extreme corner on the either sides, pat comes a sidey PJ, they all laugh and "THE END"...hahahahhahahhaa

thanga kolusalae koorkum kuyilalae aadana mayilalae
hey kuruvaannikiliye kukkuru kurukuru kooki kuruki kunnimarathil uyal aadi
koodum orikke kootu villukunne
maran ninne kooko kooki kootu villukunne

now wen i listen to this song i dont even understand even single word other than thanga kolusalae but wen i break it up into words by searching for lyrics over the net its very easy and as u said most of the words u often find them in use in tamizh

yeah i know .. i mean i heard abt the simplicity of mallu language...wat i meant was i could not understand mallu the way i started understanding tamizh by watching movies and figuring out wat every word would mean.... problem with mallu speakers is the accent... too fast and not so easy to grasp

anne oru kelvi....neenga ezhuthaalavan aa?

@sheshu,
malayalam is an easy language to learn compared to any of south indian languages.
The verb in malayalam does not correspond to gender and form of the subject(i mean plural and singular)
i will explain with an example
aval povunnu=she is going(aame vellutondi)
avan povunnu=he is going(athanu veltunnadu)
avar povunnu=they are going(vaaru veltunnaru)
if u observe the above exampl the present form povunnu for masculine,feminine and plural object doesnt change(just like going in english).
The verb also doesnt change in three forms of person(first,second and third).
EX:nyan povunnu(am going)
nee povunnu(u r going)
Aval/avan povunnu(he or she is going)
Take verb root po in telugu and see how it changes.(just present form).
Potunnanu,potunnavu,potunnadu,potundi,potunaru,potunnam.
Just for one form you need to learn 6 words in telugu whereas in malayalam u just need word as in english(povunu=going).
It is just a misconception tht malayalam is a difficult lang to learn.
One more diff between malayalam and other dravidian languages is use of copula verb in malu(aanu).it entered into malayalam due to the influence of sanskrit.
Ex:he is good(is here is copula)
mein theek hu(hu copula here)
this copula verb creates a confusion in some ppl,but ppl who reside in villages dont use it.so,u can leave it if u dont want to.

P.S:A person who knows tamil and telugu well like sheshu can easily learn mallu.
MALAYALAM is 60 percent tamil n 40 per sanskrit.
In other words malayalam is a sanskritised tamil with a bit of influence of indo european grammar

seshu...that was hilarious...

But tell me seshu why is this guy ridiculed when the ones like rajnikant and chiranjeevi are cheered and revered as demigods when all they do is indulge in the same kind of autrocious buffoonery.
